Convert Instruction or RCIA (helping enquiries in the Catholic faith and those wanting to become Catholic)

The Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults is the common means by which adults enter into full communion with the Church, are baptised or receive the other sacraments of initiation. The Parish runs an RCIA from October to April each year for those who would like to consider becoming catholic or to receive sacraments as adults. This course gives full panorama of the Catholic faith. It is important also to have individual support and instruction for this journey in faith. During the last three years more than 20 people have taken part in the RCIA programme. This can be offered by the parish clergy of by a dedicated and experienced team of parish helpers. It is possible to become Catholic without attending the public course. Please contact Fr Marcus or Trish Smalley (01843 865737) if you are interested.
